4 Wednesday Evenings in May 2024

May 1, 8, 15, and 22

Age: Adults, and Youth 15 & over

Level of Instruction: Beginner/Introductory

This is a 4 session dive into the basics of wheel throwing. You will learn throwing, trimming, and glazing.

Learn about the fundamental concepts of pottery from professional ceramicist Hillary.  In this class, you will learn how to throw the basic cylinder which leads to mugs and bowls. You’ll be introduced to clay tools, the differences between high and low fire clays, and learn about glazing fundamentals.  You will make multiple pieces throughout the 4 sessions, that will be fired before and after glazing.

We are closed to the public at this time of day, so you will be able to completely focus on learning the fun medium.  All final completed projects will be ready for pickup no later than mid-June (Hillary will give you a more accurate date at the last class).

Fee: $135

Clay: included with cost of class

Tools: Borrow ours or bring your own.

There are only 4 spots available for this class – so register early!  Class sales are final – once you register, we order product, and that spot is no longer available to the public for reserving.
