Clay Class – Get on the Wheel!

Wednesday, February 19th 2025    6:00-7:00pm

Age:  Any (yep, kids may register too!)

Level of Instruction:   Absolute Beginner/Introductory

Try something new!  In this session, 3 lucky and daring souls will get on the pottery wheel and just give it a go.  Under the direction of our staff ceramicist Hillary, here’s what will happen:

Will you make a mug? Heck no.

Will you formulate anything at all recognizable? Probably not.

But you know what you will do? Have fun trying something completely new, and you’ll go away after a very small investment, knowing whether you want to pursue this medium further.  Because we do have month long classes that you can sign up for those after you try this.  And in THAT class you will make a some decent looking vessels.  In the meantime, be brave and give it a shot for an hour.
