Paint Your Own Pottery (PYOP) is a creative experience for anyone -regardless of artistic ability. When visiting our studio, these are the steps to getting started:
Select your ceramic(s) from our wide range of ever evolving stock. Each item is priced on the bottom and includes paint, glaze and firing. At any given time of the year, we have over 200 unique items from which to select. Fun fact: at Christmastime, that number nearly doubles!
Visit our paint bar to add your colors to your paint pallet. Grab a water cup to rinse your brush. There will be a clean set of brushes waiting for you at your table. Revisit the paint bar as many times as needed to complete your project.
Once your piece is painted, we let it dry completely through. Next, your pieces get placed in our kiln room. We will dip your creation in an overglaze that is made of crushed glass. This is what gives your piece a shiny finish, while also ensuring that it will be food, microwave, dishwasher safe. After overglazing - your ceramic(s) go in the kiln for a 24 hour cycle of firing and cool down.
On or after your pick-up date, bring in your yellow claim ticket (given at checkout) any time during business hours so our staff can get you your finished piece. We'll hold your pieces for 45 days after your pick-up date.
Now marvel at your masterpiece!

We proudly offer Central Ohio's own Crimson Cup, as our exclusive custom roaster.
It all starts with the bean. And we proudly serve the freshest custom roasted beans from Central Ohio's own Crimson Cup. Our traditional European inspired menu is espresso focused. What does that mean? For example, a true Italian Macchiato is a 4oz of rich espresso, topped with a dollop of steamed foam. The Westernized version of a Macchiato is milk forward - in a 16oz cup there's about 12oz of steamed milk and 4oz of espresso. Syrup is typically added as well. A glance at our staff artist's rendering of our drink ratios, are a great aide in helping you make your decision of what to order!
Our fantastic team has worked for 9 months to freshen up our space. We’ve expanded our seating, added a brand new paint bar, and worked to make our space considerably more accessible.
