For $75 you’ll get 2 hours in our studio for 15-40 painters, and a dedicated staff member to guide you just as we do during operating hours. After-hours group painting opportunities may range in size from 15 painters minimum to 40 people maximum.

Please note: We are able to offer this discounted rate for studio rental based on the 15 painter minimum. Parties less than 15 will be charged $20 per person missing from the minimum. For example, a party of eleven would be charged an additional $80 on the evening of the party to make up for being four people under the minimum.  That $80 does not apply toward the $300 minimum spend.

Available time slots for after hours are as follows:

– Monday through Thursday: 6:30pm – 8:30pm

– Sunday: 5pm – 7pm

THE NITTY GRITTY:

• Non Refundable Booking Fee: $75    This secures your date and ensures that you will have the painting studio to yourselves after hours, with a staff member to assist you and your guests.

• Cost to Paint:    Cost of your chosen pottery is extra, and will be due at the event. A minimum ceramics spend of $300, is required.  When you book your event date, you are agreeing to that amount.
• Special Order Ceramics Option:   If you would like a specific ceramic to be available to your group, please let us know at booking. We will email you a digital invoice to pay within 24 hours.  Once the invoice is paid, we will order the items and have them at the event.  That amount will will apply to your minimum spend requirement for the event. If we are less than 2 weeks out for your event date and the invoice has not been paid – ceramics will not be ordered and your group will select from available stock at the time of your event.
• Who pays?   We can ring each attendee individually, or the group as a whole.  We will need to know which,  at the time of booking.
• Coffee:   If you would like Square 7 to be open during your event, you may make that arrangement at booking for an additional $25.  That fee to cover the extra staffing.   There is no minimum purchase requirement for Square 7.
• Decorating and Carry-In Items:   You are welcome to bring in balloons, table decor, presents, and/or any food/beverages.  The one exclusion being that if you do book the coffee bar, we ask that you not carry in any type of beverage that we offer on the Square 7 menu.  You may not hang anything on our walls.  We do not serve alcohol, but you are permitted to carry unopened beverages in to the building for consumption inside.  Downtown Lancaster is a DORA community, so those rules apply for carrying alcohol off the premises.
• Contact Person for Your Event:    Our Special Events Coordinator Ash Sark (reachable by email at ash.sark@fairfieldcountyohio.gov), will be your Art & Clay on Main contact about your event.  Ash will email you within two business days of your interest form being received, to discuss details concerning your event.
• Booking time frame:    All after hours must be booked no less than 4 weeks in advance of the event date. At this time we can not book further out than 6 weeks from the event date.
